ISLAMIC CULTURE
By entrusting the word culture to Islam, culture would
be adjoined to it and therefore derives its meaning and im-
plications of it. This means that the concepts and teachings
attributed to it as an Arabic term which leads to the under-
standing of the word culture as a word that includes the
overall sciences, knowledge, concepts, and methods of be-
havior and dealings that characterize the individual or com-
munity.
Culture, originally, means trimming and removing im-
purities and allowing things to take place without warp
thus the spear was called as "cultured"since it is a branch
or channel cleared from impurities so that the word culture
in Latin means cultivating and taking care of plant develop-
ment and life establishment.
If we wanted to define the "Islamic Culture", we would
have to know the impact it introduced into the Islamic
through the methods of thinking and decision-making cen-
