people and enemies and allowed the muslims to establish
the rules of their civilization on the restoration of warmth
and flame to the human self. Therefore, they dedicated rec-
onciliation, thus defended their civilization and sought for
its cohesion and activation of its role.
If we return to the word freedom (horreyah) as a word
unstated in the Holy Quran, as the west identified its mean-
ing that nearly sets no limits. The word freedom does not
represent a clear concept unless it is added to another con-
cept such as saying: freedom of belief, freedom of resi-
dence… traveling and so on.
However, a meaning derived from it is the word
"liberation"(Tahreer) mentioned in the Holy Quran on the
basis of identifying the concept of freedom as a word con-
trary to slavery for any human being or for anything else
such as slavery to money and power. This means that Is-
lam has removed this word- concept- from the ambiguity of
its meaning that does not indicate the occurrence of an ac-
tion and granted to it the practical meaning opposite to the
absurdity. Hence, it became equivalent to commitment to
laws that determine inclination, subsequently imposing the
modalities of behavior. Therefore, freedom means commit-
ment to the divine laws and inherent freedom to this law is
capable of building a strong effective character far from ca-
priciousness and avoiding shamelessness and absurdity that
characterize freedom in the Western societies extolled by
