Thus, the Quran recognized the beliefs of these religions
and considered them sufficient in order to enter paradise on
condition that they should be accompanied with good be-
havior. Subsequently, the book of Allah Almighty in Surat
of Baqara Verse No. (62) stated the following:
"Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or
Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those
[among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and
did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord,
and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they
grieve".

The openness of Islamic civilization was not only re-
stricted to the aforementioned, but it also surpassed it to
openness to philosophy in spite of the fact that Islam did not
acknowledge philosophizing logic, yet it recognized mental
search and utilized the tools of debate of logical sciences
and mental philosophizing methods. As a result of all the
above stated, the so-called "Science of Speech"was estab-
lished. The Science of Speech was considered by the Islam-
ic philosophers and thinkers as a mean of defending their
beliefs and a weapon against the bickering advocates such
as new Sophists who constituted immunity against biased
