edge of nations to which Islam has extended. Consequently,
the splendor of respect and veneration crowned poetry and
poets then the courage of Muslims grew and strengthened
with the extending power of their grip.
We could say based on the above that Fahad Al-Salem
Center strives to make the culture of openness in the world
spread in an organic and functional way. It also seeks to
make its elements civilized after it manifested in a crisis
form that revealed itself in various aspects of social politi-
cal and economic life. Moreover, it hindered the success
of any project that aims at advancing culture in spite of the
various experiences in our modern era. However, all of that
resulted in failure due to the lack of dialogue between the
stakeholders willing to achieve success. Therefore, the dia-
logue remains the only requirement since dialogue is ca-
pable of promoting our culture on a structural basis that re-
sults in knowledge and cultural overflow manifested in the
nation since culture and civilization are overlapping phe-
nomena because culture express mental and creative issues.
Thus, culture is the one that grants civilization its spirit and
creates for each community its own concepts.
Indeed, we do not deny the difficulties that will encounter
Fahad Al-Salem Center for Dialogue among Civilizations
and the Defense of liberty since there are many bodies con-
cerned with dialogue and each nation has its own culture,
