main concern during my periods of work in the National
Guard since experience practically helps in achieving the
principles of human rights that are confirmed by the UN
charters through this noble experience and struggling for
dignity, as well as basic freedoms that are from the essential
issues which directly contribute in advancing the mecha-
nisms and capabilities of any society because ignorance is
the foremost enemy of humanity. Human rights are insepa-
rable from the social service theories, values, and goals as
the rights related to humanitarian needs of individuals and
communities are the center of our concerns. In our opinion,
social service is the mediator among people, governments,
and officials to ensure that governmental policies and deci-
sions guaranteeing human rights of people and communi-
ties are not violated or ignored. Moreover, the social ser-
vice, through its long history, has contributed in many fields
of human rights and is considered an essential requirement
in the recognition and implementation of the concept of
dignity and individual value.
Since Fahad Al-Salem Center has set the laws that guar-
antee the rights of nations as a priority and considers it as a
roof that safeguards everyone and determines the legitima-
cy of relations, then freedom and democracy should abide
by the law and totally comply with it as all the associations
of the Human Rights Organization advocate.
Returning to one of the meanings of democracy which
