foundation of civilization because civilization is directly
linked to human rights in order to activate joint life among
communities in a framework that preserves their basic fun-
damental rights derived from the honor granted from the
Allah Almighty to man and preference on other creatures
which historically evolved through laws, customs, and leg-
islations that preserve the rights of communities whatever
their affiliations and ethnicities were.
In a brief historical overview for ancient times going
back to twenty four centuries ago, philosopher Mozi found-
ed the School of Mohism - the Philosophy of Ethics- which
emphasized the importance of respecting others and their
rights considering that universal love is the only solution
for the social problems. If love is spread all over the world,
it will undoubtedly find the Vigorous State and overall hap-
piness through which people love each other, vulnerable
people are not exploited by powerful ones, minority is not
stolen by majority, poor are not humiliated by rich, small
are not depreciated by great and innocent people are not
deceived by subtle ones.
Selfishness is the source of evil since Mozi considered it
as the base of evil, whether it was the child’s desire to own
or the empires’ desire to conquest and colonize.
