their forefront the recognition of others whether enemies or
friends, considering them as a standalone entity, and grant-
ing them the right to exist, think and practice, if complying
with the law.
I have formerly declared on the eve of the internation-
al conference on dialogue of civilizations that was held
in Kuwait, under the slogan of "Renewal of Peace Dia-
logue, Freedoms, and Human Rights in the Contemporary
World"on the 21
st
of May 2011 regarding the occasion of
electing Kuwait from fifteen member countries in the Hu-
man Rights Council of the United Nations, the following:
"Kuwait should be currently committed to developing
its process of human rights. Nowadays, democracy in our
country is just words on paper, thus it is not an effective de-
mocracy. Therefore, we should work on changing this situ-
ation and I have confidence in the capability of attaining
this goal. Moreover, we recognize the importance of work-
ing hard to achieve democracy and freedom. However, its
achievement is worth the efforts, and we have to start exert-
ing more effort".
The conference was widely recognized in the fields of
media, policy and society since it adopted the issue of "Hu-
man Rights". The process of human rights was not improvi-
sational or out of void. However, it was established on the
