At the beginning of this subject, we have to emphasize
the importance of those young people and their role in
founding real democracy. Reasons of revolution in the Arab
countries arise socially where most of the university gradu-
ates are unemployed and low-waged, needless to mention
the deterioration of the middle class and the prevalent im-
poverishment. The revolution has its roots in communities
within each country, high income gap can be traced between
the rich and the poor. This caused imbalance between the
components of the society so that these people are deprived
of the basic needs of life.
At the political level, a blend of repressive policies is
present, NGOs and associations experience restrictions
through autocratic regimes that adopt bad policies, leading
to corruption, bribery, mismanagement of public funds and
public institutions, and preferential employment due to the
absence of justice and inequality among all classes of society.
Furthermore, there are other reasons such as mishandling
globalization. These aforementioned reasons has urged the
people to take action and call for democracy because it is
the fundamental mechanism to transform growth into an
actual development that guarantee the fair distribution of
wealth.
