After the occupation of Constantinople, the foundation
of the Roman Empire in the East, the largest smuggling op-
eration to transfer the eastern heritage to the west occurred
at the hand of Christian migrants fleeing from the Ottoman
control. This intellectual and cultural production that was
transferred into the west increased the curiosity of Chris-
tian thinkers, philosophers, poets, writers to know about the
east. Consequently, the cultural missions explored libraries
searching for all that helps in acquiring the culture of Mus-
lims and represent it. Subsequently, they were capable of
discovering this inventory transferred to the West and at the
same time raised ideological suspicions once they started
spreading and exposing the differences among the sects and
the variation in views which later became the reasons for
local conflicts and sectarian wars.
As orientalists represent the bridge of communication
between the worlds of Christians and Muslims, thus and
due to their logical and practical methodology, they man-
aged to persuade the Muslim intellectual who was deeply
influenced by them so he acquired their methodology and
logic such as the Trojan horse through which they were
capable of entering his heart and mind. Consequently, ori-
entalists earned absolute confidence and the trust in their
provisions was unimpeachable.
