Thus, the protection of the polytheist is required from
the Muslim, to ensure mercy which is the center of mor-
al life with respect to Islam especially those who did not
recognize the reality of Islamic call, by using the practical
eloquence as a prelude to dialogue and presentation of the
teachings and ideals that were brought by this blessed call.
On the other hand, this protection is considered as a pre-
lude to guide this polytheist and pull him out of his being
astray since Allah does not punish a polytheist if He did not
inform him about the call and send messengers, and if the
polytheist did not receive the irrefutable argument.
Therefore, the protection of the polytheist and riddance
of his disobedience is an introduction to transmit the words
of Allah that include reassurance and guidance which could
also lead the mentality of the misguided into the light of
guidance and right path.
The issue does not stop at this point, but goes further by
the Promotion of Virtue into more than just treating this en-
emy with hospitality and good manner since Islam does not
