it erupts in another with all the tragedies and calamities it
brings about besides the tremendous growth of the utilitar-
ian tendency and the tendency of the western societies to
colonize and plunder the riches of the people and create
unrest and strife. All these Western flaws not only prove
being far from the christian culture, but also leave no doubt
in being contradictory to this culture that calls for peace,
forgiveness, and helping weak people.
These principles that both the Islamic culture and the
original Christian culture have agreed upon as they agree
upon the Ten Commandments stated in the Torah and that
formed the backbone of the moral building representing the
spirit of the Islamic moral teachings and complying with
the Quranic Verses which included a proof that the Quran
came to complement to the Torah and the Bible that pre-
ceded it.
What proves the above mentioned is the words stated in
the Holy Quran in the Verse No. (48) in Surat of Maida:
"And we have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the
Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the
Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them
by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclina-
tions away from what has come to you of the truth. To each
of you we prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed,
