ISLAM AND JUSTICE
Historiansandsociologistsagreedthaturbanismis the log-
ical opposite of nomadism. Urbanism takes place where life
is conqueredbyuniformityand tools are available to facilitate
and ensure the ease of life and is characterized by stability.
The word or concept of "Justice"is a contradictory con-
cept and the points of views vary regarding this concept
according to the concerned authority. By virtue of statutory
law, Justice is the prevailing laws and laws in force.
These laws put by a category of the community and
abided by the entire community, or in other words imposed
by the State authorities on people, represent the interests of
its legislators. Subsequently, the justice arising from these
laws is only legitimate with respect to its beneficiaries.
The philosopher and writer Voltaire sarcastically says
