justice and fighting against corruption. However, we can
state his famous statement which summarizes the entire
subject and became a slogan that judges bear in mind: "Jus-
tice is the foundation of ownership".
Then justice is the unbiasedness to the tribe, family and
religious group and turning towards judgment by virtue of
the words Allah revealed, thus the prophet (PBUH) said the
following statement: "To judge fairly between two people
is charity".
If we relate this to Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib(A.S.) we
would have a direct vision and true enforcement of jus-
tice prevails in the story of this great Imam with his brother
Akil,"Akil came asking for Sa’ of wheat and he was im-
poverished, thus I heated a piece of iron, thus he became
concerned and afraid. Then, I told him: "you groan from a
piece of iron heated by a creature for his sport, whereas you
are dragging me towards a fire kindled by the Almighty for
his wrath!"

As you see, who aims at justice neither takes side with
his relatives nor takes the people he knows into account. He
preserves the money of the subjects and defends the rights
of the vulnerable.
