they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They
said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has
wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do
not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path".((9(, Verse
No. (23), "Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes,
and I have one ewe; so he said, ‘Entrust her to me,’ and he
overpowered me in speech".((10(
This case is clear and evident, when two enemies came
requesting justice, and nothing but justice from Prophet
David, since it is clear and evident, Prophet David did not
hesitate to issue a judgment when one of the rivals ex-
plained to him the problem without hearing the opinion of
the second, then David said, "He has certainly wronged you
in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And in-
deed, many associates oppress one another, except for those
who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they".
And David became certain that We had tried him, and he
asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in

ٰى َغ َب ِنا َم ْصَخ ۖ ْفَخَت َل اوُلاَق ۖ ْم ُه ْن ِم َع ِز َفَف َدو ُوا َد ٰىَ ل َع اوُل َخَد ْذِإ" :)22(مقر ةيآ ،"ص ةروس"
." ِ طا َر ِّصلا ِءا َو َس ٰىَل ِإ اَن ِد ْها َو ْط ِط ْشُ ت َل َو ِّق َحْلاِب ا َن َن ْي َب مُك ْحاَف ٍض ْع َب ٰىَل َع ا َن ُض ْع َب
ةروس" ،ميركلا نآرقلا ،دوعس كلملا ةعماج يف ينورتكللإا فحصملا عورشم ((10(
ا َهي ِنْل ِفْك َأ َلا َقَف ٌة َد ِحا َو ٌة َج ْعَن َيِل َو ًة َج ْعَن َنو ُع ْس ِت َو ٌع ْس ِت ُهَل ي ِخَأ ا َذ ٰ َه َّنِإ" :)23( مقر ةيآ ، "ص
