needy and the deprived ones are given the right in
the property of the rich apart fromCharity (Sadaqa)
etc. and are entitled to take it without any favor.
4-
Islam considers that the muslim has a free hand to spend-
ing his own wealth. However, this freedom is associated
with good behavior and linked to being committed to the
Islamic laws which regulate this freedom: "O you who
have believed, do not consume one another’s wealth un-
justly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent.
And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Al-
lah is to you ever Merciful". Surat An-Nisaa Verse No.
29.

In addition, Verse No. 188 of Surat Al-Baqara
urges to regulate spending money "And do not consume
one another›s wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to
the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume
a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you
know [it is unlawful]
".

If Islam is keen to adjust one’s own money, then it is
even more concerned about the abuse of the money of
