We also seek to get the society to realize the importance
of peace, denunciation of war and rejection of any restric-
tion on the right of all peoples to self-determination, wheth-
er such a rejection is through agreements or institutions.
Since the Center denounces all kinds of crimes, particu-
larly social crimes, and education and media crimes, which
distort the upbringing of individuals, it rejects all kinds of
hegemony, marginalization and poverty, all means of abuse,
arms race and the expansion of social exclusion because
knowledge is an integral part of the rights of the individual
so as not to be used as a means of social hegemony. We also
believe in the importance of making forums a sort of insti-
tutions with a wide participation, and where serious issues
and their impacts on the content of educational curriculum
and methodology are put up for discussion.
The Center also calls for avoiding the monopoly of all
information for the interest of the strongest sectors. It works
hard to and is keen on fostering solidarity and unity among
the members of the Kuwaiti society so that it can solve its
well defined civilization problems. The Center also empha-
