An Italian court ruled that former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi should serve a one-year sentence for tax fraud doing community service, a legal source told Reuters on Tuesday.

The source did not give details about what kind of community service Berlusconi has been ordered to do.

The Milan court is expected to make a statement detailing its ruling later on Tuesday.
