A pair of climbers have spent nearly two weeks reaching the top of an enormous cave in Oman in one of the world's most difficult ascents.
Mountaineers Stefan Glowacz, from Germany, and Chris Sharma, from the US, abseiled to the bottom of the cavern in the remote Majlis al Jinn cave complex before embarking on the mammoth challenge.
The cavern, which rises 250 metres (820ft) from the cave floor to the ground above, is big enough to house the Great Pyramid of Giza.
The duo made suspended platforms so they could rest during the ascent, which they completed with a single safety rope and after several falls.
