A large number of mobile phones and SIM as well as printed written phrases in English and Arabic — said to be used for the scam — were found in the possession of the suspects at the time of the arrest.
Police investigations revealed that all the suspects were illegal and violated the UAE residency law .
The suspects have been detained and have confessed to the crime. They have been referred to the public prosecution.
The Director of Criminal and Investigation Department of sharjah Police said that the police will continue the inspection campaign based on plans put up in coordination with many concerned authorities such as municipality and society establishments.
