community, but many of them - evil is that which they do".((1(
Observers for the words of Allah revealed in the Holy
Quran and for the premium He puts on the Torah, would
be astonished by this hostility that Jews have shown to the
Arab Prophet . Allah has stated His truthful words in Surat
of Maaida, Verse No. (82):
"You will surely find the most intense of the people in
animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those
who associate others with Allah; and you will find the near-
est of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We
are Christians". That is because among them are priests and
monks and because they are not arrogant".((1(
The Quran continues to emphasize the bright image
of the followers of Christ so that strong relationship with
Christians, whom Allah has provided hearts with affection
and made mercy one of the features of their letters, would
be reinforced in the heart and mind of the Muslims. Con-
sequently, He has established an unspoken dialogue with
